When we using a robotic automation system, it is recommended to add a safety system.
What is a safety system?
It is a set of safety protection measures designed specifically for the robot working environment to ensure the safety of operators and equipment.
The robot safety system optional features include:
- Iron Fence: Provides a physical barrier to prevent unauthorized personnel from entering the welding area.
- Light Curtain: Immediately stops the robot’s operation when an obstacle is detected entering the danger zone, offering additional safety protection.
- Maintenance Door with Safety Lock: Can only be opened when the safety lock is unlocked, ensuring the safety of maintenance personnel when entering the welding work cell.
- Three Color Alarm: Displays the status of the welding cell in real-time (normal, warning, fault), helping operators respond quickly.
- Operation Panel with E-stop: Allows for immediate cessation of all operations in case of emergency, preventing accidents.
- Pause and Start Buttons: Facilitate control of the welding process, ensuring operational flexibility and safety.
- Fume Extraction System: Effectively remove harmful smoke and gas during the welding process, keep the air clean, protect the health of operators, and meet environmental protection requirements.
Of course, different robot applications require different safety systems. Please consult JSR engineers for specific configurations.
These safety system options ensure the efficient operation and personnel safety of the robotic welding cell, making them an essential component of modern robot automation.
