Laser welding
What is laser welding system?
Laser welding is a joining process with a focused laser beam. The process is suitable for materials and components that are to be welded at high speed with a narrow weld seam and low thermal distortion. As a result, laser welding is used for high-precision applications in a wide range of industries, including the automotive, aerospace and medical sectors.
In robotic applications, the high-energy laser beam is usually guided by means of flexible optical fibers to the processing location.
What does a robotic laser welding system include?
1. Laser part :laser source, laser head, chiller, welding head, wire feeding part (1 / 1.5 / 2 / 2.5 / 3 KW)
2. Yaskawa Robot set
3. Auxiliary devices and workstations :single/two/three-station workbench, positioner, ground rail/track, fixture, etc.

What are the applications of laser welding?
Laser welding is commonly used in metal materials and can join metal or non-metal materials. Steel, aluminum and aluminum alloys are commonly welded using this process. Copper joints, copper-copper and copper-aluminum welding, which are often required in the production of lithium batteries, are also suitable for laser welding machines.
Laser technologies are used at JSR for the laser welding, laser cutting, laser brazing and laser cladding of numerous materials.
